The Palazzo Arcivescovile
(Archbishop’s residence), between Palazzo dei Priori and Via Maestà delle Volte, houses the Museum of Natural History
, named after Monsignor Giulio Cicioni
who promoted during the last century was a lively promoter of building up a collection of minerals, fossiles, samples of exotic fauna, reptiles, birds and fish, and finally a herbarium.
