As your guests begin to arrive, they will be offered tropical fruit punch (both alcohol and non-alcohol), as well as served an array of hot and cold hors d'oeuvres. During this time, your guests will have the opportunity to socialize, both in the lounge area and on the balcony overlooking the Basilica. Once your photographs have been taken and you are ready to receive your guests, the receiving line will commence.

Each wedding reception is uniquely prepared, taking into consideration special dietary requests, ethnic concerns or requirements for children. Our dinner menu will accommodate your individual tastes and preferences, and our staff is extremely flexible, thus ensuring these preferences are achieved. The possibilities for your wedding reception are endless, providing our staff with a unique opportunity to prepare a memorable evening for you and your guests.

The city of Assisi is proud to offer natural and scenic landscaped grounds, providing a picturesque backdrop for your wedding photographs.

General Information for The Bride and Groom

Dal Moro Restaurant offers beautiful hall and terrace over the Basilica, ideal for photographic opportunities.

Approximately two months prior to your wedding, an appointment will be scheduled with our Wedding Coordinator for final discussion of menu selection, intentions for decorating, etc.

Ten days prior to your wedding, notification of the guaranteed attendance is required for our Wedding Coordinator. The number of children and special dietary dinners is also necessary at this time.

The week of your wedding, an appointment to discuss final details is arranged. We suggest that you provide all your items necessary for us to complete the set up for your day (place cards, guest book, candles, bombonierres, seating plan, etc.).

There is €1,000.00 non-refundable deposit required when you book your wedding.

As per our Function Agreement, NO CONFETTI IS ALLOWED ON THE PROPERTY, otherwise a cleaning charge of €250.00 will be assessed.

We must be advised of all entertainment being used at your wedding. We suggest that the entertainment arrive one half-hour prior to the arrival of your guests, so there is sufficient time to set up. There is a €57.00 SIAE surcharge added to your invoice.

A floor plan of our banquet hall is provided to enable you to number the tables, and to advise of the number of guests to be seated at each table (8-10 is recommended).

Our professional wedding consultant, Francesca Biselli, would be happy to meet with you to create a custom flower package for your special day. Additions or deletions can be arranged to suit your needs. Please ask for more details.

When you book your complete flower package directly through Dal Moro Restaurant, we will also decorate your head table with fresh flowers, greens, and a centerpiece (total value of €150.00) at no extra charge to you.
