To Lu Cunnutto for Ascension in Castelluccio
Castelluccio di Norcia (Pg). In Castelluccio the Feast of the Ascension, which this year will fall on May 16th, is celebrated with Holy Mass followed by a procession to a hilltop known as Lu cunnuttu in the local dialect, where an outdoor altar is decorated with seasonal flowers and the parish priest imparts a blessing of protection on the surrounding countryside.

Pilgrimage to Santa Scolastica
Castelluccio di Norcia (Pg). The annual pilgrimage made by the women of Castelluccio to the Church of Santa Scolastica is traditionally held at the end of June. The sister of St Benedict is particularly venerated among the women of Castelluccio and all the inhabitants of the Monti Sibillini as the saint that favours the production of milk.
