PERUGIA General information -
Weather information Umbria is a landlocked, mountainous region with a typically Mediterranean climate: hot, dry summers and cold winters. In recent years winters have been considerably drier than in the past. The Apennine mountain range acts as a protection barrier from both the climatic influences of the Adriatic Sea to the north west and from the cold air currents descending from the the north east.
This is the current weather in Perugia, Italy, today February 09, 2012(local time): Although Perugia is a perfectly functional tourist destination all year round, it is preferable to arrange visits as from the spring (February - March) until the late fall (October).
